Full control over your payments

What’s it about?

Dedicated solutions have lots of advantages − especially over “aggregated solutions” − but one of the most significant is greater control. If a merchant decides to leave the whole payments aspect to another institution, this means outsourcing and trusting such a company. And trusting can be stressful because the merchant doesn’t actually know what’s going on with their payments.

Our services are always dedicated and direct and that’s why we allow our merchants to check on their payments status and other important data — we have the technical capabilities. What’s more, using our API allows merchants to integrate our payment systems with almost any applications or systems they use to run their business.

Full control is a major advantage that should be appreciated by merchants who want to integrate with their own systems, and users who like to get detailed information about their transactions, reasons for rejection, etc.

What does it mean?

Integrating with PayLane’s systems allow merchants to import all necessary data to their applications. This creates a wide range of possibilities, including business processes like accounting, customer relations, security and rapid response management.

Also, PayLane’s Merchant Panel offers much more than just basic transaction lists. Apart from providing lots of useful information (not only about successful payments), it allows merchants to customize access privileges. For example, separate user accounts can be assigned to PayLane’s merchant accounts so different people can access different data. This prevents situations where each merchant is treated as one user and therefore gets only one account which must be used by everyone in the company, regardless of their area of responsibility. That’s why we offer solutions that empower merchants to control and systematize the use of their customer data.

Example

A merchant may want to integrate the payment systems he uses with his own applications. Thanks to PayLane’s API, he’ll be able to transfer his payment data to such applications without any delay or inconvenience. This may be very helpful, for example, when generating invoices.

He may also wish to be able to react immediately in case of emergencies or loss situations. For example, if a client cannot make a purchase and all his payment attempts fail, the merchant would usually be unaware. However, using our API, he’s able to respond using nearly any reporting system — including automatic text messages to his mobile phone.

What’s more, if a merchant doesn’t want such features, he still may check all the information needed in PayLane’s Merchant Panel, including the reasons for failed payment attempts.
